PawsBreak privacy policy

PawsBreak ("the App") is developed by Akhilesh Mahto ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

1. No data collected

PawsBreak does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal information. The App works entirely offline and requires no account or login.

2. Data stored on your device

The App stores only your preferences locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. This includes:

• Your chosen reminder interval
• Your reminder type preferences
• Your quiet hours settings
• Your cat skin preference
• Your reminder style preference

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

3. Permissions used

The App requests the following permissions:

• SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Required to display the floating cat widget over other apps.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Required to run break reminders reliably in the background.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required to show reminder notifications and the persistent service notification.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Required to restart reminders automatically after your device reboots.
• REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS: Required to ensure reminders fire reliably and are not blocked by battery saver.

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit any data.

4. Third party services

PawsBreak does not use any third party services, analytics, advertising SDKs or crash reporting tools.

5. Children's privacy

PawsBreak does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

6. Changes to this policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
