Bubblie privacy policy
Last updated: 9 August 2026
Bubblie is a play app for babies and toddlers, used under a parent's supervision. This policy explains what happens to your information.
The short version: nothing you enter leaves your phone, because the app has no way to send it anywhere.
What we collect
Nothing.
Bubblie has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information - including any information about a child.
What the app stores on your device
You can enter and record the following, and all of it stays in the app's private storage on your phone:
- Your child's name, date of birth, a short note, and an avatar colour
- Care entries you log yourself: feeds, diaper changes, naps, milestones
- Play sessions: which screen was used, for how long, and how many taps
- Your settings, including your parent PIN
This data is written only to the app's own sandboxed storage. It is not uploaded, backed up to the cloud, or readable by other apps. Android's automatic cloud backup is switched OFF for Bubblie (allowBackup="false"), so this information is not copied to your Google account either.
Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also erase everything at any time from Profile > Erase all data. Neither action can be undone, because there is no copy anywhere else.
No internet access
Bubblie is built without the Android INTERNET permission. The operating system will not allow the app to open a network connection even if it tried to. You can verify this yourself in the app's listing under "App permissions".
Every sound, image and font is included in the app itself. Nothing is streamed or downloaded.
Permissions we request
VIBRATE
The small buzz when a bubble pops or a piano key is pressed.
MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS
To play the app's own sounds at the volume ceiling you set.
Bubblie does NOT request the microphone, camera, location, contacts, storage, or internet.
Children's privacy
Bubblie is designed to be handed to a child, so we treat this seriously.
Because the app collects no data at all and cannot transmit anything, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from children under 13 - or from anyone. This is intended to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code, and Google Play's Families Policy.
There is no advertising, no in-app purchasing, no external links, and no social features. A child using the app cannot navigate out of a locked play session, buy anything, or contact anyone.
Changes
If a future version of Bubblie ever collects or transmits anything, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here.
